This is the Coach Compartment Bag - 9850 - a vintage classic made in the US in 1995. This bag's color is a British Tan, but the years have faded her a bit and she's now a reddish rusty color. I did some research on this bag as most compartment bags were made in the early 90s, and this one was made in 1995. Most compartment bags were made before they began using serial numbers that include the style number at the end, but this one does! I rescued her from the Goodwill and she comes with a certificate of authentication. I cleaned and conditioned her with Leather CPR. She has some areas of reinforced red stitching inside the bag which tells me she had some work done along the way. Overall, I'd say her condition is fair. The corners are in tact and there aren't any tears. She shows her age in scratches and fading, and the brass on the strap turned it a bit green. I tried to capture her condition in the photos. She smells great!
